CPNRI Hiring Project Director
Description The Community Provider Network of Rhode Island is seeking a full-time project director. This position is a leadership position that will assist in the management of the strategic direction of the organization. The position reports directly to the Executive Director.
Duties and Responsibilities
Manage existing grants/projects by maintaining records, writing timely reports, and working with executive director and relevant contractors to ensure projects or programs are meeting established requirements.
Coordinate all aspects of planning, documentation, reporting and execution of projects and grants.
Assisting executive director to develop project/grants scopes and objectives.
Support the development and tracking of program metrics and outcomes.
Develop a detailed project plan/dashboards to track progress.
Manage the relationship with the client/grantor/funder and stakeholders.
Policy and Communication Coordination
Serve as a primary contact and liaison with communications vendor and stakeholders of policy committees and workgroups.
Track legislation and regulations related to disability policies.
Assist executive director and Board establish strategic policy priorities.
Manage communication strategies related to outreach and education on disability facing issues.
Facilitate strategic policy discussion internally and externally.
Oversight and Management
Maintain thorough records of projects and policy priorities and activities
Coordinate scheduling, hosting, and documenting activities of committees, grant activities, and special projects
Assist Executive Director to manage Board relations and priorities
Assist in various operational or administrative tasks as needed
Minimal Qualification/Skills Needed
Exceptional administrative and organizational skills; detail-oriented.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, handle frequent deadlines, and maintain strict confidentiality.
Effective relationship-building and interpersonal skills; must enjoy working independently as well as in a team-based environment.
Excellent research skills.
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel and Word as well as working knowledge of Power Point and Publisher and Google platforms.
Qualifications/Work Experience Needed:
Preferred but not limited to bachelor’s degree or other relevant combination of training and experience in management in the health and human service industry.
Prior experience in project management or policy related role.
